I worked with a guy this past summer (June-August...haven't seen him in 3 weeks because I went back to college). There were some things that made me think he might have considered me more than a friend. I only became interested in him the last few weeks of August because we grew closer in that time. Here is a list of instances that make me wonder: We were sent to bleach some tables in a pavilion and we finished and had some time left before we were done for the day so he pulled up a chair and sat down and I sat on a table. He was playing different songs that I never figured he listened to (Beach Boys "Kokomo" and Kylie Minogue's "Can't Get You Outta My Head"). Just really random songs. While we were listening to "Can't Get You Outta My Head" I was zoning out and I noticed he kept glancing up at me. I locked eyes with him for quite a while and we were just both smiling, not saying a word. After that he said he wanted to show me something so he came over and sat next to me on the table. He had an iphone so he sat on my left and leaned in towards me, using his right arm for support and holding his iphone so I could see. We watched a few videos on youtube and when it was close to the end of the day and he said that we should probably head back to our base. He actually seemed kind of...spooked? Or maybe he was expecting me to do something? He seemed fine when we got back and we left on a friendly note. -I could get really close to him, touch his shoulder, etc and he didn't care...he invaded my space occasionally. -He would glance at me a lot. Even when he wasn't talking to me. -He seemed very comfortable with me and he opened up to me quite a bit. -There was a lot of flirting going on and quite a few sexual innuendos being made (mostly by me, but he would chip in) -He teased me relentlessly my last day of work. Usually it's mild. -We got into hose fights...I wrestled the hose away from him the last day. -He randomly complimented me on my shirt and one day randomly mentioned how long my eyelashes were -We were kind of obnoxious together. (ie we spoke with accents for a good while, just general silliness). -He held doors for me -The way he would look at me...not sure how to describe it. Some things that made me question my intuition: -I kind of gave him my number, but I did so by "losing" my phone. To which he offered to call it, but he didn't have my number. I texted him once to which he replied. But he made no effort in contacting me either through text or Facebook. -He kept talking about getting back with his ex who cheated on him and treated him like dirt. -He's very insecure with himself, so I don't know if that's an issue? -My coworker asked him nonchalantly what he thought of dating me and he said I was a good looking girl but he wouldn't date a coworker because things could get weird. -Maybe he figured that since we'll be working together next summer and I was leaving...it was bad timing. -He didn't hold eye contact well Thoughts?...
